HEPA Filtration, Room Certification Support and Monitoring

CRX 110 is a technician-level course designed for individuals seeking to support the maintenance and certification of critical controlled environments. The curriculum delves into the theory of HEPA filtration, examining filter media, construction, and efficiency ratings. Hands-on training covers the operation and calibration of aerosol photometers for HEPA leak detection, proper technique for scanning filter banks, and the interpretation of test results. Students will also learn about airborne particle counting methodologies, differential pressure monitoring, and the integration of these systems into comprehensive environmental monitoring platforms. Emphasis is placed on industry best practices for data collection, documentation, and troubleshooting to ensure compliance and optimal performance of controlled environments.
